Our client management service, MindBody, has made major improvements to their consumer mode (CM) site design. Here’s part of the announcement we received regarding site upgrades:
This month we’re releasing some groundbreaking changes to the interface of Consumer Mode (CM), the part of your MINDBODY Site that allows your customers to access their accounts, book services, adjust their schedules, and complete purchases all from the convenience of their computers, mobile phones, and tablets.
For us this is very welcome news, as the user experience with the existing design has been less than ideal. Functionality remains the same, but interaction is greatly improved by the redesign of the various dialogue windows, and the addition of some new phraseology that just plain makes more sense.
Launch of the new design is scheduled for early September. Here’s a preview of what you can expect.
As you can see the overall design throughout is much cleaner and should make the online experience more intuitive. Every dialogue window gets an upgrade. The screen shot above is the main login entry. Class signups, appointments and other management tasks are improved as well.
Other major improvements include a new facebook API share button which will let you post directly from MindBody whenever you schedule a YPL class. Neat! Update your friends whenever you’re working out! (And maybe let them know how you’re enjoying your YPL training at the same time!)
There’s more. MindBody’s improved a number of service, class, appointment and product descriptions. Gone are the often confusing phrases and terminology, replaced by titles and tags that are more like the way real people talk.
In the past we’ve listened when you commented on difficulties using MindBody, but there wasn’t anything we could do. These changes should defintely improve the way you’re able to interact with us using MindBody.
